Our Doctors
- Jennifer Hall, DVM, graduated from Colorado State University College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, class 2000. Dr. Hall has worked in the Denver/Boulder area since graduation and has a special interest in emergency and internal medicine. She is a member of AVMA and Colorado VMA. Hobbies include skiing, yoga, cooking, hiking and spending time with her husband Steve, Cat named Shelly and 8 mo old lab mix named Shep.
- Rae Valentine, DVM, graduated from CU-Boulder in 1983 w/ a degree in Environmental, Population and Organismic Biology, then graduated from Colorado State University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1990. She moved to Colorado from Illinois in 1979. She has a horse, Prism, a cat, Peggy-O, and Tennessee Jed, a Bernese mountain dog. She competes in hunter/jumper horse shows with Prism, and enjoys showing her dog at all breed AKC dog shows. She enjoys skiing, camping, horse riding, and plays on a billiards 8 ball league weekly. She owned her own veterinary practice for 8 yrs prior to coming to work at Banfield and really enjoys the emergency medical cases that she sees at the N. Denver location.
- Lisa Paul, DVM, graduated from Kansas State University in 1990. Dr Paul has worked in the Denver metro area since graduation. She has a special interest in birds, but often sees the small rodents, rabbits and ferrets in addition to dogs and cats. She is a member of the Emergency Medicine and Critical Care Society. Dr Paul shares her home with 4 cats and 11 parrots.
- Joy Robertson, DVM, graduated from Auburn University, Auburn, Alabama with a BS in Biology she came to Colorado to ski and never went back to the south. She later graduated from CSU Veterinary School in 1989 and has been practicing in the Denver area since. She previously practiced at emergency clinics before joining Banfield. Her passions include trail running, traveling and yoga. Doctor Robertson finds spending time with Wesi, her 14 year old retired trail running dog, and her 2 cats, Kitty Hope and Chickpea, to be priceless.
