Bring new, unopened Pet food to donate at the Portland Trail Blazers game this Saturday

As we continue to gear up for the holiday season, you can help feed the Pets of homebound seniors who are in need. On Saturday, Nov. 21, Banfield, The Pet Hospital will host our second Season of Suppers Pet food collection night at the home Portland Trail Blazers game that begins at 7 p.m. in the Rose Garden.

This event, which is part of Banfield’s continued partnership with the Trail Blazers, will give the first 500 attendees who donate new, unopened Pet food at the event a traveling dog bowl and a discounted coupon to the Blazers pro shop (limit one per family).

Season of Suppers, now in its fourth year, was created with the realization that many seniors were sharing their once-daily delivered meal from Meals On Wheels Association of America (MOWAA) with their Pets, compromising the nutrition of both.

If you can’t make the game on Saturday, you can also show your support for Pets by donating Pet food and/or monetary gifts at any Banfield location, or contributing online at www.BCTSOS.org and clicking the “donate now” button. A donation of $30 will help Meals on Wheels programs feed one pet for an entire month.
