Howl-o-ween safety for your Pet
With Howl-o-ween right around the corner, the below are some tips for keeping your four-legged friends safe from dangerous tricks and treats.
• Don’t take your cat or dog with you while your kids go trick-or-treating. It can be frightening to a Pet to sit in a dark car while scary creatures of every size and shape walk by. A Pet that is normally friendly can become aggressive and protective.
• Keep your Pet inside. There are plenty of stories of vicious pranksters who have teased, injured, or even stolen Pets that are left in their yards. Make sure your Pet is kept safely inside your home.
• Candy can be deadly—chocolate contains theobromine, a substance that can be lethal if ingested by your Pet and foil wrappers can be as dangerous as razors when swallowed to a Pets internal organs.
