Make life better for Pets in your community

At Banfield, we believe Pets are part of the family and we continually reach out in our communities to educate Pet owners, encourage preventive care, provide Pet care tips and help find Pets loving and permanent homes. Knowing that making life better for Pets also makes life better for families, we always encourage our clients to be advocates of responsible Pet ownership. If you would like to help Pets in your community, contact your nearest Humane Society or visit HSUS.org to find out other ways to become involved. In addition, the Banfield Charitable Trust and PetSmart® Charities both have opportunities to become involved to make lives better for Pets in your community.

Remember that creating a community where Pets are safe and healthy ultimately begins at home, so make sure your Pet receives regular preventive care. At Banfield, our Optimum Wellness Plans include a complete nose-to-tail exam twice per year, to detect and prevent illnesses before they pose larger health problems. In addition, the Plans include all of the preventive care services, such as dental cleanings and vaccines, that our veterinarians recommend Pets receive each year.

Being a responsible Pet owner also means ensuring that your Pet’s microchip is up-to-date and that he or she is spayed or neutered. If you have additional questions about keeping your Pet healthy, your local Banfield veterinarian can provide you with useful tips and resources specific to your Pet.
