This year’s Season of Suppers campaign finishes strong

Our fourth Season of Suppers campaign was a tremendous success, thanks to the generous support of our associates, clients and community supporters. At our Portland, Ore. main campus alone, our associates raised nearly $20,000 and nearly 28,000 pounds of Pet food. During the month of November, our hospitals nationwide raised nearly $24,000. Needless to say, the strong community and associate support will go a long way towards feeding hungry Pets.

Many of our hospitals made special efforts to ensure that this year’s campaign was our best yet. Our Cary, N.C. hospital team decorated its donation cart in a harvest and holiday theme. They also entered donors’ names into a raffle for gift baskets, which contained coupons, dental care kits and other items donated from PetSmart. So far, the Cary hospital has filled up their cart once, and is hoping to fill it once more before the campaign officially ends on Dec. 31.

The donations have been pouring in on the West coast as well. At our Wilsonville, Ore., hospital, an anonymous donor dropped off a large supply of Pet food to help fill hungry bellies in the Portland, Ore. area.
